Insanity FLYFF: Crystal Weapons and Armor Upgrade Guide

Only level 300 weapons, shields and armor are can be upgraded to +20 for weapons, shields and +10 for armors: Baku, Tenshi, Malefic Conqueror, Titan and Trinium Shadow.

Crystal Upgrading Items

1. Crystal Transformation Stone (CTS)
2. Crystal Enchantment Scroll (CES)
3. Crystal Enchantment Success Scroll (CESS)

Note: The level 300 item (weapon, shield, armor) must be upgraded to +20 before you can transform or upgrade it to a Crystal Weapon.

How to Upgrade Level 300 +20 Item (weapon, shield, armor)

1. You will be using the CTS to transform or upgrade your level 300 +20 item to a Crystal item. You don't need to worry when the upgrade fails because it will not destroy your level 300 +20 item - only the CTS will be used; You just need to try again.
2. Once you have successfully upgraded or transformed your Level 300 +20 item to a Crystal item, you will be the CES to upgrade the level (plus). From +1 to +5 is a safe zone. When you reached +5, upgrading it will reset to +4 if Fails.
3. You can use CESS to increase the success rate up to 50%
4. The maximum upgrade level for Armor is up to +10 Crystal
5. And for Weapons, Shields is up to +20

Bonus Stats for upgraded Weapons, at:

• +4 = +5% speed
• +8 = +30 All Stats

Bonus Stats for upgraded Armors, at:

• +5 = +25 All Stats
• +10 = +5% HP (this is per part; helm, suit, gauntlets, and boots)
• +10 will have an additional 1 slot for your Runes/Jewels

Insanity FLYFF: Rainbow Race Guide

The Rainbow Race is an event in Insanity Flyff private server that players can join in once a week, happening every Saturday. All you need is to have a flying item and 1,000,000 Penya for the registration.

During the race, FlyFFers (players) must fly using their flying devices across the continent to complete the 7 mini-games in random order. The Rainbow Spirit NPCs (with designated color) are located on the floating islands above the continents.

Rainbow Race 7 Mini-games

Rock-Paper-Scissors [Red]

Win 3 consecutive rounds of Kawi Bawi Boo

• Tips: you can start with a Paper, it has a high percentage of winning base on my experience.

Lucky Roller [Orange]

Roll the dice until the total equals the NPCs roll

• Tips: you need luck :)

Anything but Math [Yellow]

Solve 5 consecutive math equations

• Tips: prepare a calculator :)

Stopwatch [Green]

Press the stop button within .03 seconds of the time given by NPC

• Tips: just keep on trying :)

Typo [Blue]

Type the exact letters and numbers given by the NPC

• Tips: type your answer on a notepad, then, copy and paste - if you got the wrong answer, edit the letter you think is wrong; especially - j / i / g / q / y / v

Concentration [Indigo]

Match all the Masquerpets to win

• Tips: just try to remember the images

Drop the Ball [Violet]

Predict the winning hole

• Tips: start at the right corner, then go to the middle, then, left corner.

Rainbow Race Rules and Guidelines

1. Flyffers can apply for and participate in the Rainbow Race only in channel 1. 

2. Once the ‘Rainbow Race’ starts, the Rainbow Race icon pops out in the bottom of the navigator. You can check the details by clicking it.

3. You need to complete the 7 mini-games in random order.

4. After completing the 7 mini games, the characters should go back to the NPC [Rainbow Race Officer] in Darken and press ‘Confirmation of Rainbow Race end’ button.

5. You can not use "Blinking stones" during the race.

Rainbow Race Rewards

1. Once you have completed the 7 mini-games, you will receive a total of 12 Rainbow Race boxes containing: Vampire Shield, Looter Pets (0/2), Titles/Fames (I don't know the complete list of rewards, but these are the items I've got last time). All rewards are untradeable (can not be traded).

2. You will also receive 10,000 RC (Red Chips)

Rainbow Race Tricks

Once the Rainbow Race starts, go to the nearest "Buff Pang" and click Teleport. 

Rule #5: You can't use blinking stones to teleport, however, you can use the "Buff Pang" and use the Teleport option. In that way, you can go near to the location of the Rainbow Race Spirit.

I haven't tried using the "Tickets" if it is possible to teleport also. I will try this next Saturday to see if it's going to work.

How to get a Vampire Shield? What monster drops a Vampire shield?

And recently I've found out that the Vampire Shield is an event reward item from joining the Rainbow Race. That's a good thing, right!? I mean, you don't need to spend your Penya or Hunt for life just to get this item. And the success rate of getting a Vampire Shield from the Rainbow Race boxes are pretty high, like you can get around 4-6 shields from the 12 boxes reward.

However, some players are knowledgeable enough to make the event rewards vampire shield trade able. As we all know, that items marked with event rewards are can not be traded.

How to make Vampire Shield trade able?

The secrets? I don't know, but some players claimed that you can use the "Anti Soul Link Scroll" which has an effect to remove soul linked items and makes them trade able. I can't confirm if it is true, I haven't tried this yet but will try to find out.

This has been discussed many times in the Insanity Flyff forum, but the admins/gms/fms are clueless or they're still looking for solutions on how to fix this issue. I don't know.

How much is the price for a clean Vampire Shield?

The Vampire Shield is really a good equipment for Seraph because of the Stats (HP+20%, Speed+15%). That's why it is expensive around 1K perin to 2K perin for a clean one.

Insanity FLYFF: Kalgas Hunt Guide

I have here a simple guide on how to do Kalgas Hunt in Insanity FLYFF private server. The requirement is that you should be in a Party. The best job class for Kalgas Hunt is Arcanist (of course, you can do the hunt with other classes that has an elemental attack like Mentalist and Seraph).

When hunting in Kalgas, I usually do dual-log-in (meaning 2 windows opened) with my Arcanist partnered with my Seraph. But if you could hunt in a group that would be better, killing Kalgas would be a lot faster.

Here's how to do a Kalgas Hunt

1. You need to destroy the 2 statues guarded by Kalgas Guardian Malphas and Kalgas Guardian Astaroth. (you don't need to kill the Guardians, in that way, you can save more time) Once you completely destroyed the 2 statues, this will summon the Kalgas Statues (egg-like-statues).
2. Next is to destroy the Kalgas Statues (4 egg-like statues) to summon Kalgas. So, what I did. I only destroyed the 3 statues (remember that there are 4 statues to destroy before Kalgas is summon). And the last one to destroy the 4th statue is my Seraph; after that Kalgas will appear.
3. You need only to hit Kalgas, and then, run as far as you can, in that way, the "attack" will not reach you. This is like a "hit-and-run" tactics. With that, the "attack is focused" on my Seraph. And my Arcanist is free to hit Kalgas using the elemental attack.
4. My Arcanist damage is around 1.8M - 2M with full buffs, and it took me around 13 minutes to kill Kalgas.

What are the items drop in Kalgas?

Usually, Asylum items (Set parts, Asylum weapons, Shields), the level 150 Jewelry (defenders, champion, marksman, adepts), Cards 10% and Runes.

Set Effect: Increased DEF+20%
Set Effect: Increased Hp+15%

Individual jewelry additional stat:

Necklace (Max.HP+1018, Max.MP+227)
Plug Earrings (2) DEF+370
Rings (2) STA+40, DEF+5%

Please take note that this is +20 additional and set effect Stats. This jewelry set is best for those job classes who are aiming to get an additional HP bonus stats.
